This is the best Korean fried chicken I've had! They use high quality, fresh chicken that's fried with a nice crispy crunch and the inside is still kept really nice and moist. I highly recommend the #1. GALBI CHICKEN. I was shocked by the quality of this place and I will DEFINITELY be back. What a wonderful gem of a business!

Drunken chronicles - once upon a time I was bar hopping with some friends and obviously get the munchies. Stumbled into k soul chicken to satisfy (in reality absorb all the alcohol) the crave. This place is like an oasis - feed my Seoul! I got the original with no sugar please with hella mustard. Ommm nom nom nom - nummy nummy. Piping hot, crispy and perfectly cooked in the middle. I actually couldn't taste it, so I need another one... Yup! It's that good! Service was quick or maybe I didn't notice because of the good company. Will I come again? Sure, but it's not one of those places to go on a regular. Fried food everyday can't be good for you, or maybe it is?

Tell me why when I first opened the delivery box of galbi boneless chicken and stabbed what I thought was a French fry with my fork, I literally did a chew double-take and removed the tteokbokki from my mouth because my taste buds were so thrown off from what I was expecting. I really should've known better, but I'm accustomed to seeing tteokbokki drenched in a gochujang based sauce, so they deceptively resembled fries. To be fair, from this experience, I learned they taste way better dry and seasoned, but I digress. Onto the main part of the review... As I've written in a couple other reviews this week, I'm "researching" the best Korean fried chicken spots in San Francisco to determine which to order from for an upcoming Friendsgiving. I looked up a ton of options in the city and narrowed them down to a shortlist of 3 spots, this place included. A few things I examined to create my short list were varieties/flavours of chicken, quantity to price ratio, other customer ratings, images of the chicken, and proximity to my neighborhood or deliverability to my friends' neighborhood where the Friendsgiving will be hosted. When I took the first bite of K Soul chicken, I knew I'd found a winner. I'm very particular about KFC having spent the last few years living in LA and Orange County, home to copious dedicated KFC restaurants. K Soul's chicken tastes the most similar to my favourite spots in SoCal. It has the perfect texture and crunch, the meat is neither dry nor greasy, and the umami flavor is on point. They've created a perfectly balanced KFC, and that's why I'll be taking this to Friendsgiving.

The K fried chicken was saucy, sticky and delicious!! A great place to share chicken with friends! The corn dog was okay, but a fun experience. I am a big fan of this place after a couple drinks with friends. I highly recommend! We were a loud bunch, but the service was kind and helpful!

As a Korean who's constantly disappointed by Korean food in the states, this was the first time I actually felt transported back home. The ddukbokki flavor is spot on, just like how my mom makes them. The rice cakes that come with every chicken order are such a fun touch too. I ordered through Uber Eats and was surprised to find the chicken still crispy. I personally liked the garlic seasoning over the yangnyeom.

Stopped here for dinner with my friend since we were craving korean fried chicken and this place did not disappoint‍...we're still thinking about it a few days later We ordered the "Chee-rinkle" fried chicken and tteokbokki which were both delicious. The fried chicken was very crispy and moist with the right amount of cheese sprinkle, also came with a cheese dipping sauce that's on the sweeter side. The tteokbokki came with two fried mandu and two fried seaweed rolls that complemented the rice cakes, the rice cakes were good and the sauce was on the sweeter side. Loved that they provided gloves and the restaurant layout was comforting. Def revisiting when we're back in the area

Been coming here regularly since moving to the area a couple years ago. Probably my favorite spot for Korean fried chicken. Most folks choose take out or delivery from this place. And you can't blame them! The chicken travels so well it's a great option. I like dining in because the place feels so much like an actual restaurant straight out of the ROK. Right down to the K-pop and plastic gloves to keep your hands clean. The people who work here are always friendly and the food comes out super quick. The chicken pieces are all very large, juicy and crispy. After probably 20 orders it's constantly delicious every single time. I also enjoy the pieces of rice cake included with each order of chicken. The mandu is always fried crispy as well. Love K Soul Chicken!

I came here with a group of 4 on a Friday night around 6:15pm and we got seated right away. There aren't too many tables though, maybe enough for 5-6 groups. I did see many people just order take out. We ordered: - half Galbi chicken - half yang nyum chicken - ddeokbokki - 3 beers and 1 soju I liked the galbi chicken the most! It was very flavorful with lots of garlic on it. The yang nyum was good as well and also quite flavorful but didn't have a special taste to it, I felt like it was similar to a lot of other flavored korean fried chicken that has go chu jang as a base in the sauce. The ddeokbokki was quite delicious though! It got more spicy as we ate and came with other things like dumplings which was nice. When the shot glasses were brought over, we also asked for beer cups and the waiter was nice he explained the lines on the cup to help mix the beer and soju. Service was pretty fast too, overall this was a nice place to satisfy our korean fried chicken cravings.

Fried chicken isn't just fried chicken. So many different cultures have their way of doing it. I haven't decided which way is my favorite yet. It would be hard to say that Korean fried chicken wasn't in the running. You can see everything I had here. Before I've also had one of their original fried chicken offerings with the jalapeño and garlic sauce. I tried a few new things this time. The chicken sandwich didn't stack up to the elites in the city. The fries were fries. The corn dog was great. You don't find these everywhere. These put regular corn dogs to shame. Highly recommend. I like the regular fried chicken the most but the price is a little high. They do know what they are doing in here though. It's a no frills place. They get you your stuff pretty quick and hot. Can't complain about that. Just a real solid neighborhood fried chicken spot. What's not to like? (4.0 Stars)
